امامنا هو بعيد - Before us yet distant (Print)

 أمامنا وهو بعيد ومعنا وهو ساكت وليس ذلك عهدي به ولا عهد الزمان أن يبتعد من يحق له الاقتراب وأن يقترب من يحق له الابتعاد

 Before us, yet distant; with us, yet silent. This is not how I knew him, nor how time has ever known him — that one who has the right to come close is now far, and that one who should stay distant has drawn near.
